BEREAN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2019: A YEAR OF REVIVAL

Our Ministerial exposure to Pastor Chinyere Onwubiko (Prof.) started with DARE TO BE DIFFERENT. Every other time you meet with him something new will happen to you but he is a Prophet of Christian Character Reformation to be like Christ our Lord. He is so original that you cannot predict his next move. He is the pen of the divine author.

If you compare him to a movie, you will not do justice to his method. Pair him with action movie, favorite music, dancing style and styles, music instrument in the hand of a professional, an engineering skill or invention it will fall short of this humble but superb teacher of divine secrets. Away from clamor, glamour and glory!

Yes, away from competition and kingly gaiety. What shall I say; here is the 21st Century Reformer. It would have been the darkest hour for us if we had missed his message for the 2019 Berean Conference. The subject of SPIRITUAL WARFARE has never worn such a garment of divine magnificence nor yet a two-edged sword cutting asunder, dividing between the soul and the spirit of a Christian as he did on the matter. It was not time to shout in the charismatic way but a time of deep serene awesome frightful self-examination of one’s doctrine, personal character as a confessing Christian and more so preacher.

What we knew to be four kinds to supernatural rank of demon forces was put in the correct form by the prophet teacher. His exposition is super-normal. From him we know that God indeed has equipped us for the battle before it began. I have always lived everyday to prepare to get the armor and always often waiting for something to convince me that I have it. He proved that it was God who does the equipping. What a relief and creation of faith-rest unto victory.

In so doing he removed the veil of fear on those who were careless, callous, reckless over their involvement in the spiritual warfare. Many couldn’t get involved for as they thought they were not ministers, experts, warriors in these things. And in Nigeria, it is brisk business enterprise as many are hired, prophets, deliverance ministers, etc., who are paid to do the spiritual fighting for the people. It is booming at the expense of the congregation. Few of us are raising the church as an army and for that we are not popular. The coming of prophet-pastor-teacher Prof. Chinyere Onwubiko has laid this matter to rest. The entire participants have received an eternal enlightenment, a fire that is burning everywhere now and cannot be quenched.

Through his coming now in 2019 we have rediscovered where we missed the fundamental key to victory in the spiritual battle…to know that human agents are never our problems. Avoid being aggressive to them and stop being a victim of casualty in the spiritual warfare. Fight against Satan through prayers to stop him leading us to fall into sin, ignorance and misery. This is the crux of the matter. Do so even to the point of shedding blood. Fight to death like Joseph. Wow!!

The weapons of our warfare both defensive and offensive were given the proper definition. Prof., what we only lived imagining was clearly defined and we were edified and transformed and consolidated by same who would have known that every clause or phrase has its own unique translations. What a masterpiece of stroke that he gave to the text of Eph. 6:10-17, which in eight days of 2 hours exposition was like a summary yet we could only touch part of vs 16.

People in attendance speak volumes; Motherless Babies Home, Aba, Ohafia, Enugu & Isiukwuato. The greatest breakthrough is that for every command he gave the “how to do”. That is healing.

It is said that 75% of all sickness and diseases are psychosomatic. The entrance of his teachings produced 75% healing and the next 25% through his prayers and exemplary life.

His breakdown of righteousness is marvelous. It made the tool of the breastplate of righteousness marvelous. It made the tool of the breastplate of righteousness most desirous. The distinction between the faith-righteousness and works righteous is new in the vocabulary of Christians here. You need to see the face of the crowd to know better. We have been duly educated and equipped for efficient victorious Christian living in the spiritual warfare without paying for it. It is supernatural. Here in Nigeria churches and conferences, you pay for everything but in Berean you receive or is given everything. This is a divine ministry indeed.

Whoever knew that whatever we speak either comes from God or Satan. The shock of this revelation caused a redound to us all and resolve to be wiser. If Satan could speak through apostle Peter after God just spoke through him, who am I not to be careful. Work the Gospel as my footwear – power, I will rout the armies of darkness. Thank God for Prof. Chinyere.

Truly Christ is God my Savior; risen for my justification. My surety and advocate with the Father. Being seated with Him in heavenly places, I will in His name, by the power of the Holy Spirit defeat all the spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. He is the head of all principalities and power, he disarmed Satan and give me the full armor of God. What a school better than all the seminary that is producing cemeteries instead.

I won’t forget how he exposed idolatry as the chief crime against God, but which I understand that Christmas and Easter are idolatrous practices to be avoided by any wishing to go to heaven. Thank God for the Eucharist observance he conducted at the Berean Sunday Service. It was time to observe the Lord’s Passover supper in truth and in spirit.

The visit to a new Motherless Babies Home in Osisioma – Aba, Abia State was an exciting experience. That mission by name PEACE SISTERS ABANDONED CHILDREN OUTREACH MINISTRY INT’L wears a Christian look unlike previous ones. They were very hospitable and quite appreciative of the august visitation by Berean Ministries International. What a day to remember!

Prof. is a good ambassador of Christ Jesus and of Berean Ministries International. At Aba, Ohafia, Enugu and Amaba-Isiukwuato, Bibles were given. Packs of his messages in books were given. Everybody went away smiling. Berean International Ministry through Prof. Onwubiko provided lodgings for ministers from different stations to Aba. We fed and transported so many. Widows, blind people, poor ones all received monetary helps. All workers were blessed with an envelope of monetary handshake. Berean Bible Church is simply unique.

Testimonies abound for this year Berean International Ministry’s Annual Conference. The blind people among us were driven with hunger to learn all the messages on the SPIRITUAL WARFARE that they travelled everywhere with the Fellowship from Aba to hear Prof. Two prominent were Bro. Emeka and Sister Uchechi. They were in Aba all five days and Sunday service. At Ohafia, Enugu and Amaba, Isuikwuato.

The rain never intruded. But as soon as Prof was done on Wednesday, by night the heavens turned loose till the next morning hours.

For me, it was holiness conference as I learnt how to stop the Devils from setting me up to trip. I am enjoying a steady holy walk as never before.

Everyone here has testimonies. He has brought us to STAND ON OUR FEET WITH THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD KNOWLEDGEABLY to become more than conquerors indeed. He has caused a spiritual revolution against Satan and the kingdom of darkness. He is the right kind of messenger to deliver Nigeria from the ignorance, sin and misery reigning now. Oh! His messages will be on air in National Television stations, Radio stations in Nigeria.

We give thanks to the Church Board, His Sponsors and all who made donations and sent gifts to us here through him, and to all who pray for him and do all kinds of work to support his outreach to us be peace, grace and mercy and blessings from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

May next year outrank this year as we grow in the Lord-Maranatha.

Join Us Each Sunday in Worship

Berean Bible Church believes in building a strong relationship with God and understanding His word. In order to understand the Word of God better, we offer Sunday and Wednesday services. Sunday service starts at 9:50 a.m. Our Wednesday services are split up by a prayer meeting and a Bible class. The prayer meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. which is followed shortly by the Bible class at 7.
