RESULT OF THE 2015 CONFERENCE

I stand to testify that these are the days of Isaiah the prophet as it is written, “I revealed  myself to those who did not ask for me.  To a nation that did not call my name,”  I said,  here am I,  here am I. ” Isai. 65:1.
   The results of the coming of Berean Ministries   International  into Nigeria is that it has taken roots,  grown branches and flowering bears fruits.  In such a short time it has overtaken older Churches and Ministries  that have been here over fifty years. There is no better way of describing  this enigma that the prophecy of Isaiah quoted above.
      The state of Africa and Nigeria before the slave trade Era,  the abolition  of slave trade,  the coming of missionaries  and establishment  of colonialism and mission churches and schools,  have been coveted in history.  But after all these the testimonies abounding afterwards  betray the expectations  of the expedition  and Labour involved in the enterprise. The truth must be told,  only few missions ever produced  genuine Christian converts.  The rest happened to become nothing but amalgamation  of Christianity with paganism
       As it stands,  Prof.  Chinyere Onwubiko is one such rare convert born in this country,  Nigeria. His ministry in the United States and here in Nigeria justifies my claim. .He came to us in the recently concluded  Conference  in high spirit.  He trumpeted into our ears THE CHARACTERISTICS OF FAITH.  demonstrated it like a defense attorney  would do in a court of justice.  Sampling Abel,  Enoch,  Noah and climaxed with father Abraham. It was awesome. The revival fire he set in this land is still burning  like a Holocaust.
      When he starts to expose the meanings of the Scripture passages,  you see your stupidity in claiming to be a true Christian.  When  he finishes you will be crying,  “What a wretched man I am!  Who will rescue me from this body of death.”  Rom.  7:24  (NIV)  Truly,  God remembered  to bring us to himself who knew him not through Berean Ministries International.
       Strangely it has always  been America that God used to bring pure Christianity to us since  the Asia  Street revival in the 20th and 21st  century. While it seemed  to be going  dim,  Great Reformers rose like Prof.  Chinyere Onwubiko  to come to our rescue.  Freeing us from  captivity to Christ less Christianity  as Pastor Bonhoeffer of Germany would call it.
     New chapters  are springing  up everywhere all seeking for recognize think and approval to belong.  It’s absolutely  an uncommon  development  in this nation where  Christian  ministry is brisk  business.  We do not collect offering  or raise funds,  yet the keep coming.  We do not pay these ministers nor allow them to make merchandise  through  the ministry,  yet you can stop them from trooping in.  It’s amazing.
       In the city of Enugu,  capital of Enugu State Nigeria three people  who attended  the last conference  went back and now has fifty followers in their Centre.  They are asking for official launch of the chapter. We shall soon visit them in group with books of Prof.  Chinyere to exhort and encourage and acknowledge  them.
       In the home state of Pastor Chima at the capital Abakiliki  and Afikpo 2nd largest  town therein, there is good  news on increase of adherents increases our joy in the Lord. Many pastors have laid off their Episcopalian  regalia taking after the humble dressing code of Prof.  Chinyere without his saying so. It’s astounding really,  many have cast off off their denominational churches and request for a Berean church here for full time.  All is to match  their repentance  with equal action.
     We are definitely  challenged to the narrow on how to deal with the situation. Seeing the stick to Berean Fellowship  at the expense for their former churches.  They seek Berean like a deer pants for the water.
     My reason of delaying to talk about the Conference is justified  in so Saying. Even in Imo State they clamour for a chapter. In fact, “The harvest is plenty  but the labourers  are few. ” I write to inform  you and ask for attention  and help for the teeming population  explosion and field of coverage.
      I stand to thank God for choosing  us and ordained the  Berean Ministries  International,  Bay Springs Mississippi for its efficacy at this time.
     Many thanks to the whole members,  families  and Board of Berean Ministries  International for making themselves  available  to God for our sake,  salvation  and reformation.
     All I say is that God will will bless you all and to preserve  you in his covenant. May you continue  the good work you started in Nigeria till more than enough is saved. 
           Once more,  I thank the entire ministry and Pastor Prof.  Chinyere Onwubiko  the man of God in caring for us.

Join Us Each Sunday in Worship

Berean Bible Church believes in building a strong relationship with God and understanding His word. In order to understand the Word of God better, we offer Sunday and Wednesday services. Sunday service starts at 9:50 a.m. Our Wednesday services are split up by a prayer meeting and a Bible class. The prayer meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. which is followed shortly by the Bible class at 7.
