A NEW MILESTONE COVERED BY BEREAN MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

  It was the joy of a new dawn to the people of Akpoha Igbo, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State that Berean Ministries came not to visit but to stay in their domain. A long time member of Berean who hails from this place, who always have been attending the conferences coming from here has been the brain begetting the chapter.

  His testimonies, Prof. Chinyere Onwubiko’s messages and books and Bibles he returned with and the new insight to the Christian faith he returned with was the bedrock that caused them to cry for more. Seeing that he cannot be Prof. Chinyere, he began to ask, seek and knock at the door of BMI and it opened for him.

  Thanks for the visionary leadership of the African Director and the team of leaders from Afternoon Headquarters in Aba. The dream is realized.

  On Friday 30th July, 2021 all roads led to Akpoha Igbo. By 10 am I landed after some hours the Aba team landed. The host community were waiting and after all protocols the African Director Rev. Simon Onwubiko delivered a strong oracle titled, “BE A CHRISTIAN THAT AVOIDS FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WORLD”. With James 4:4-10 as basic text. The audience was treated to the strangeness of hearing an Apostle addressing a set of Christians as adulteress. Which being misunderstood many translators took to render as adulterers and adulteresses. Imagining that James spoke literally and so did to embrace both genders a term know as AIT assisting in translation. However the minister cleared the grouse with references to the Lord mention of Israel as adulterers because of paganism and idolatry in particular. Israel was Jehovah’s bride just as we are the bride of Christ. So the term has same reference.

 He divulged clearly to open our eyes on how following the worldview in matters makes one an adulteress and hater of God unwittingly. Danger to be avoided. So it rang in everyone’s ears till the silences it caused will make you hear the sound of a pin dropping on the floor. It was like Prof. Chinese teaching again.

  Afterwards the workers were inaugurated officially in prayers by Rev. Prince.

  We were treated to a refreshment by the host New Chapter with 38 of them on time and more later making a round ind of 57 people.
